Crazy Castle

Hey Bloggers, Today in learning about fractured fairy-tales. It was lots of fun making here's a picture of my story Mountain. I think I did really well in this task and maybe next time I could make a not so bright background. I have used google drawing for this and I think google drawing is very useful. Have you used google drawing before? And have you made a story mountain before? Please comment if I need to improve on anything or do something better next time.

Super Survival

In literacy, we have been reading Going Solo by Roald Dahl. It tells his story from where Boy left off.

He went to Africa to work for The Shell Company and he has many adventures there. Some of these are really funny.
He then joined the RAF to fly in WW2.

We have recreated a part of the story where his plane crashes in the desert. He manages to survive although he is blinded by the crash and badly injured. He does get his sight back eventually.

Going Solo is a great novel that I would recommend you read.

Hey, Bloggers for this task we had to make a renderforest if you are wondering what that is, it is like Biteable but it is so much fun. I recommend you use this if you have to make an animation. The Boy in the Striped pyjamas awesome

Hey Bloggers, For literacy we had to make a slide for the book we are reading. The book is called The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. For me, it is a very good book and I recommend you read it. every week we have to do a task and if we don't complete it we have to do it in our own time at home. Please comment if I need to improve on anything or something I could to next time. This is a work in progress. 

The Battle

In Reading for term 4 we have a must-do every week. This weeks must-do is called Battle. We have to make a copy and then read pages 40 and 41. And answer all of the questions and then answer we have to read pages 42 and 43. Please comment if I need to improve on anything or something I could do better next time.

Swamp Media

I was surprised that on the quiz what rugby player you are I was Kieren Read and my favourite rugby player is Beauden Barrett. It was interesting that Syria was the strictest country in the world because it is a really good country. I recommend that after you have done the quiz you can do it again. It was clever that you put all of the pages are on top of the website.

The Washing machine

For reading, we had a task the task was to read The Washing Machine and then we had to make a google slide. After that, we had to do the vocabulary and make up a new title for the book and why. Thirdly we had to upgrade the Washing machine. Please comment if I need to improve on anything or something I could do better.

How Māui Slowed the Sun

This week is Maori week so in reading, we had a task and the task was we had to read the book How Māui slowed the sun. and then we had to make up a new title what we think will happen next and say the right pronunciation of the karakia. Please comment if I need to improve on anything or I could do something better next time. 

Baby Hoatzin

For reading our teacher Mr Sutherland had a must-do for our whole reading group. First, we had to read the book about baby Hoatzin and then we had to copy and paste the 2 orange and red slides on a new slide. Please comment if I need to improve anything or anything to work on.

A Long Lost Father

For this term in reading, we had a must-do, first, we had to read a book called A long lost father. Then we had to make a wanted poster because the girl in the books father got lost. And make a set of where the story is set. Please comment if I have done anything wrong or if I can improve. 

Bart and Orville

For reading this term we had an ako task. Firstly we had to read the book and then we had to make a slide and copy two of the slides that are pink as you can see. I think I did really well in this task. Please comment if I need to improve on something or something I could do better.

Language Features

For reading, we have been learning the language features. Our teacher Mr Sutherland set us an ako task and we had to get all examples of language features from the book that we are reading mine is the 117 story-tree house. Please comment if I have done anything wrong or I have done something similar.

Definitions

In reading, we are learning definitions. In this task, we had to search for some definitions that our teacher Mr Sutherland set us. This is really fun. please comment if I need to improve anything or if I have done anything similar. This is still a work in progress.

Going Solo Biteable

Going Solo By Liam on Biteable.

For this task, we got to do a biteable about the novel that we are reading. First, we had to read the book for 20 mins. Then we had some questions that our teacher Mr Bell made us do. Hope you like it.

Mind Swapping-Body Swapping Machine

This term in reading we have started reading Barking Mad. And we had to make a mind-swapping or body swapping machine. This is mine. Then we had to write the parts of it and put some instructions too. It was really fun. BTW it is a bird and a spider mixed together.
